ACTIVITY IN Sekolah Tunas Mekar Indonesia

The Bahasa and English Festive Season (BEFS) is one of the annual programs proudly held at SMP S Tunas Mekar Indonesia during Bulan Bahasa celebration.

This year, BEFS Session 1 was successfully conducted on November 6th, 2025, carrying the inspiring theme “Linguistically Smart, Culturally Proud.”

The event was organized by Ms. Diana Sari, Ms. Ummi Hasanah and Ms. Ade Nurindah Sari, who served as the Event Organizers (EO).

🏆 Variety of Competitions

This year’s BEFS featured a range of exciting competitions designed to highlight students’ creativity, confidence, and language skills.
All competitions were connected to the use and appreciation of Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Lampung Language, allowing students to explore the beauty and diversity of languages through various fun and educational activities.

The competitions included:

• Coswalk (all students and teachers joined and wore Traditional Attire)
• TMI Talks (Public Speaking Competition in Bahasa Indonesia and English)
• Stand-Up Comedy
• Mystery Words (Tebak Kata in Bahasa Indonesia, English and Bahasa Lampung)
• Wall of Wonders (Wall Magazine)
• Poster for Change
• Voices of Unity (Singing Traditional Song in Trio)
• Writing Short Story
• Smart Clash 2025 (LCT in Bahasa Indonesia, English and Bahasa Lampung)
• Heritage in Motion (Traditional Dance)
• Poetry in Harmony (Musikalisasi Puisi)
